The emergency room in Canmore last Sunday evening was very busy. I saw the nurses actually running a few times. They had a couple of very ill patients. However, it was the first time in many years I have seen nursing staff treat every patient with an exceptional level of kindness, care and compassion. The staff had every reason to lose their composure, yet they did the very opposite, even when they had to skip their breaks because of the level of patient need. It truly made a difference, at least us, as we were trying to determine if my husband was having a heart attack. With them keeping their composure, they made a stressful health situation much more bearable THANK YOU!
