Patient specific care, I really want to thank Laly, Simi, Rehan, and Ryan on Unit 100 for the topshelf care that they offered during my brief stay. It probably isn't that abnormal for them, but to me if felt odd to be 35 years old and on the stroke unit. The team made me feel “OK” and brought normalcy, like they understood that I felt out of place. I felt like they knew that I desperately wanted to get home, get back on the trails, and get back to my active lifestyle. I’d like them to know that with Dr. Hill’s approval, I climbed 5 peaks in Iceland last week, and I feel great. Thank you to these allstar people. I think about them on the regular and they meant more to me than they’ll know.
