I had a colonoscopy through the Alberta Colorectal Cancer Screening Program. I am a HCW and I was treated like a patient, respecting that I don't work in this area and have questions and concerns like any other patient. The booking staff were responsive and helpful. The first appointment was both informative to me and the nurse was thorough in completing an assessment. The staff helped describe, explain, and arrange the time and day of the colonoscopy. They made themselves available by phone for questions that they answered knowledgeably. There is a phenomenal workbook for the process. The day of the procedure, there was impressive attention to detail. I appreciate everyone there.
