Dr. Jennifer Nicol was the most compassionate and empathetic healthcare professional I encountered while working through surgical complications. She did not assume I was having an "anxiety attack", she understood that my behaviour was a result of the extreme pain I was in, and she treated me as a reasonable human being deserving of appropriate pain relief and diagnostics. She validated the experiences I had rather than writing me off. I honestly wish that every doctor exercised her standard of care and caring. Thank you for being the incredible doctor that you are.
