In 2017, my husband Brian was diagnosed with terminal metastatic prostate cancer. At the end of January, his life and medical journey came to a close. Brian's final weeks were made significantly smoother thanks to the compassion, care, and professionalism of the "Palliative Home CareSocial Work" team and the "Medically Assisted in Dying (MAID)" team. I will always be deeply grateful to everyone who touched Brian's life and helped make the end of his journey more peaceful. His strength throughout this journey was inspiring, and I will forever cherish the support that surrounded him during his final days.
