THANK YOU! To our dedicated Volunteers that help us on our unit! We are so very fortunate on Inpatient Psychiatry at Chinook Regional Hospital to have an incredible partnership with Volunteer Services. We have created a psychiatric specific volunteer program that directly benefits our inpatients on a daily basis. From gardening to helping in our group therapy program to socializing with patients and greeting visitors to our unit. Our volunteers contribute to our trauma informed care environment by preserving patient dignity, being empathetic, kind and nonjudgmental. They show up with smiles, positivity and compassion and we are so grateful for them!
