On December 1, 2025, I had occassion to attend the Emergency at Rockyview Hospital in severe gastrointestinal distress. It was very busy on this date, and my total stay was about 8 hours. I want to compliment everyone that I dealt with from triage to discharge. I felt I was moved through the entire process efficiently and with professionalism and compassion. I had several tests (ECG, blood work, ultrasound and CT scan). Although an actual diagnosis wasn't made, the symptoms were alleviated and a referral was made to a GI specialist for an endoscopy. HUGE compliment to the young intern doctor, Michael Gong, who went above and beyond He is everything a patient hopes for in a medical interaction.
