I had a complicated hysterectomy (Dr. Lam) on Jan 15 that required me to stay for two nights. I've never stayed in a hospital before and was nervous. I had the best nurses and care team and I wish I could remember each of their names (thanks Hydromorph lol) not only did I feel so incredibly cared for, but sharing a room with three other patients, I could hear compassionate and patience being given to everyone. As a member of the LGBTQ community who had my partner coming to visit me, the team that took care of me never made me feel like it was an issue and treated both of us with kindness and respect. Please pass along my appreciation to my whole care team.
