From the better late than never standpoint In July 2023 I landed in FMC's Unit 82 for several weeks. Fortunate indeed are those patients who are assigned a bed there. I can't thank the staff enough for their kind, observant care as I struggled with pericarditis and pleurisy. I have experienced the workings of several other units in recent years and Unit 82 by far exemplifies the best FMC has to offer. Shoutouts to Kara, Joy, James, Sheelagh, Melody, Johnny, Kaitlyn and Nga and Doctors Shaver, Ferland and Fralick. There were others too whose names evade me, all of whom helped ease my stay.
