I would like to express my deep gratitude and appreciation to all the doctors, nurses and other staff who looked after me during my stay at the Royal Alexandra Hospital from Sep 20 to 30, 2025. I was fortunate to be in the Emergency Department when my health started to deteriorate. Although I had to wait quite a while to be seen, once I was seen by the doctor I received immediate treatment. At one point the Rapid Response team was called to address my deteriorating health. This experience showed me the value of our health care system and how health care professionals from different departments came together to deal with my case. As a result I was on a path to recovery very quickly.
