I hope this message gets to Kate. I wanted to write a note last year but got distracted. She was my oncology nurse for my very first treatment and within minutes took me from scared and nervous to calm and comfortable answering all my questions and putting me at ease. Each treatment I silently wished she would be my nurse. This week she was. She remembers her patients, always had a smile and genuinely cares. I'm lucky to have benefitted from her kindness and hope she knows what a difference she makes in our lives.
