Amber, my postoperative nurse, was absolutely wonderful. She was compassionate, thorough in her explanations, and made me feel genuinely cared for after a difficult surgery. I felt quite vulnerable during recovery, and her kindness and attentiveness made a significant difference in my comfort. It also meant a lot to me that she remembered me when I returned for a followup appointment and took the time to ask how I was doing—such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture.
