My son was seen Saturday May 24 through 25th in emergency with a testicular concern. This was our first time in emergency at childrens and it exceeded by expectation immensely. The Unit clerks,the porters, the Doctor and the ultrasound team, each person we saw was caring, empathetic and truly communicated in an age appropriate way with my 7 year old. He was kept comfortable, and had each step explained to them . I myself am a nurse and was just blown away by these persons who are just so hard working, so busy but still so considerate of the kiddos they work with and their parents. They truly go above and beyond what they are called to do. Please know you make a difference.
