Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness have the greatest impact. As we are currently navigating end of life care for beloved Dad and Opa, this has been especially true. Staff nurse Bito helped my family, and more specifically my Opa, feel respected and valued by taking the time to update family members on how our loved one was doing, and he was incredibly thoughtful in planning early meal trays and meal assist for our fatigued loved one. We are so grateful for the respect and dignity showcased in these and other small actions. Thank you for putting your heart into your nursing profession!
