I had hand surgery at the U of A hospital on August 13 2020. I turned down the anesthesia (happy sleepy IV) since I had a nerve block and wanted to have the shortest recovery time possible. The anesthesiologist was still present in case I needed the help but doubled as a pretty decent DJ. He knew the exact moment to cut off Akon yet keep the music flowing. Dr Ladak did what I can only assume was a great job. I still have no feeling in my finger but from what I read, it may be awhile. The standout was Mary. What a superstar. So destined for greatness. I have a terrible memory for names but that one stuck. From intake to discharge, the entire cast was phenomenal. Thanks to all. Especially Mary
