My daughter Dawn was discharged from Foothills Rehab in Calgary to Medicine Hat Hospital to be placed in a long term care facility and she is only 52 years old. Thank heavens the physio staff on 2 North recognized her potential to rehab, she is now back home living very comfortably. Dawn had some falls while trying to rehab. Rhoda the physio therapist and Maureen her assistant identified the fear and helped Dawn to overcome it so she could progress. Nursing staff, the health care aides, housekeeping of 2 North were all very encouraging and supportive. Thanks to 2 North and their physiotherapy department she is a long way from having to spend her life paralyzed and in a long term facility.
