My wife, Michelle Fuller spent just over a week on Unit 61 after having lung surgery with Dr Gelfand. Words cannot describe my sense of helplessness as I witness everything Michelle has to endure, and so in muted compassion, I hold her hand and “be there for her”. The game changer in all of this is YOU! As I watch the handson nurses (and all the support staff) provide tender, yet efficiently focused care for Michelle I am moved and so immensely grateful.
