I recently underwent a hormone related test at the Clinical Investigation Unit (CIU) at the UofA Hospital. It was an excellent experience throughout. From the first phone contact to the actual test, I was impressed by the professional and kind attitude every single staff member displayed. My wife and I felt welcomed, respected, and were kept fully informed about what was happening. It was one of the most patient centred experiences I had in the provincial health system.
